I live on Cape Cod in Massachusetts (and that makes me feel really special when I meet Vampire Weekend fans because I can be like “oh have you ever been to Cape Cod? No? I live there ahahahahahahhahahahahahaha”)
But I don’t like it here and I dream of living in New York City.
I have two dogs
Sam and Gracie
Sam is a very regal yellow lab and Gracie is a stupid black lab puppy
I like to look at pictures of good-looking guys and I like to fantasize about my History teacher (and a few other teachers but none that I actually have a class with)
ummm I guess I like music also
Especially sixties pop music.
I also like the sixties. A lot.
I have four sixties dresses and I wear them out in public.
Also I often do my hair up in sixties styles when I’m home alone and just enjoy how amazing I am.
I listen to music on a record player and I use film cameras from the sixties*
I just really like the sixties
And my favorite movie is A Single Man (actually it’s a tie between A Single Man, Forrest Gump, and Philadelphia but A Single Man went better with my sixties theme)
*I didn’t want to take away from my sixties stuff by talking about how I also love photography, but I do. I’m no good at it but you don’t have to be good at something to love it. I love taking pictures because it’s a record of a moment in time, it’s a memory; a picture is documenting your existence and the existence of your friends and some of the greatest moments in life. I love film photography because setting the aperture and shutter is like a game and then pressing the shutter release button and actually hearing and feeling the camera taking a picture is so incredibly rewarding and beautiful. Then the anticipation when you get photos developed and how thrilling it is to see how they came out, it’s fantastic.
